TERMS
MegaBite Events will provide a 10'x10' space for your setup at each event.
Vendor agrees to the following:
A) To abide by all policies and procedures printed and incorporated in this application/contract. The signature of this contract indicates that the person signing accepts personal liability for his/her company.
B) Vendors must remain set up until the event's closing unless otherwise notified by MegaBite Staff!
C) Vendors must leave vendor space in clean condition. No garbage is to be left behind. All vendors are responsible for putting their garbage in the cans/dumpsters provided by MBE or the host location.
D) We ask all vendors to post and tag any event you are attending on MegaBite Events' Facebook and Instagram pages 2 weeks before your appearance.
E) Failure to attend an event you have signed up for without informing us may result in not being able to attend future MBE events.
LOAD-IN, SPACE SET-UP, & BREAKDOWN:
• Load-in will begin 2 hours before the start of each event, and you must be fully set up and ready to open 15 minutes before the event starts.
• If you arrive late (within 30 minutes before the event starts), you will not be able to set up or attend the event and will forfeit your vendor fee. If you are running late, you must immediately contact MegaBite Events via text or call.
• For everyone's safety, all tented vendors MUST have weights to secure their tents. A minimum of 5 lbs. per tent leg is required. No weights, no tents.
SPACE ASSIGNMENT
Mega Bite Events reserves the right to determine the tent/booth location. Booth sharing is not permitted without consent. Vendor may not assign their booth or any portion of it to another person/vendor for any reason.
We do not offer exclusive vendor product opportunities, but we do try to limit to 2 of the same or similar vendors where possible.
DISPLAY REGULATIONS
No vendor or exhibit may block or interfere with a neighboring booth. Vendors shall confine all activities within the limits of the booth. Nothing may be nailed, tacked, or screwed to any of the trees or structures within the event area.
PERMIT REQUIREMENTS
Vendors are required to apply for their own Health and Fire permits (where applicable) and be approved and ready to vend by their selected dates. Megabite Events can supply you with the paperwork.
LIABILITY / INJURY
The organizer will not assume any liability for any injury that may occur to event visitors, vendors, their agents, or employees during the event, including setting up/break down periods.
STAFFING
Tents must be staffed with adequate personnel at all times to serve the attendees.
INSURANCE
The vendor shall carry COI general casualty liability and property damage insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000. Vendor shall name Mega Bite Events, LLC as an Additional Insured, and provide Mega Bite Events LLC, with written evidence of coverage at least 30 days before the event.* Vendor may also have to have a separate COI naming the host location or township, Borough or city as additionally insured*. The parties mentioned above will not be liable for damages, loss, or injury for any reason within or beyond their control. Insurance for such loss, damages, or injury shall be the sole responsibility of each exhibitor at their own cost.
REFUND POLICY
Events are Rain or Shine. No refunds or credits will be issued unless the event is canceled by the host. Any incurred refunds will be credited at the end of the season. You will forfeit your fee if you choose not to show up. If the event is canceled for weather conditions or cancelled due to the threat of unsafe conditions, authority of the law, strikes or Act of God. MegaBite! Events, LLC reserves the sole right to revoke the agreement granted within this application for any reason whatsoever and at any time by refunding the fee paid by the Exhibitor. MegaBite! Events, LLC will not be liable for lost revenue or any other liability beyond the fee paid by the Exhibitor because of enforcing this provision.
PROHIBITED Smoking, alcohol, and other drug use while attending the event is prohibited
VENDOR SPACE FEE
Market Vendor Fees will vary based on your commitment and timing.
Sign up for
17 weeks (Full Season) - $40/week
Important Note: The Oct 12 market will be included with South Bound Brook Day. Due to the expected attendance, a price increase will be observed for this date.
PAYMENT TERMS
The vendor fee is payable at signing. A $25 late fee will be applied if your invoice exceeds 7 days. If no payment has been received or you have not made contact to discuss payment options within 15 days, your place will be forfeited.
INVOICING
You will be invoiced separately. Please do not send any payment with this application. Also, make sure to add this address to your safe senders list.
